Data Protection
Controller and Scope
Clouddev controls personal data collected through clouddev.digital and related registration flows. This notice explains handling under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and acknowledges GDPR concepts where EU residents interact with us.
Categories of Data
We collect identifiers (name, email, company), billing references provided by purchasers, technical logs (IP address, device type), cookie identifiers where permitted, and content you submit through forms or mentor channels.
Purposes of Processing
Data is used to deliver courses, issue certificates, respond to inquiries, secure our services, analyze aggregated usage, and meet legal obligations.
Legal Bases (where applicable)
Processing rests on contract performance, legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement with proportionate analytics), and consent where required for non-essential cookies or marketing.
Retention
Registration records are retained for the duration of the business relationship plus statutory periods (commonly seven years for tax-related records in Japan where applicable). Support tickets may be archived after resolution according to internal schedules published to enterprise buyers upon request.
Processors and Transfers
We use vetted hosting and communications vendors. Cross-border transfers occur only with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or APPI-permitted mechanisms. A current processor list is available upon request for corporate customers.
Your Rights
Japanese residents may request access, correction, deletion where legally viable, and cessation of use that violates APPI. EU residents may exercise GDPR rights including objection to certain processing. We verify requests to prevent fraud.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical controls appropriate to the sensitivity of training data. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please use unique passwords and report suspected incidents promptly.
Children’s Privacy
Services are directed to adults and professional learners. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without parental consent.
Updates
We revise this notice when practices change. Material updates will be highlighted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated by email. Questions about these policies: hello@clouddev.digital · +81 78-963-3819 · 158-1241, Hashimoto Yakeno, Yawata-shi, Kyoto, Japan
